SEO for Beginners : (Universitas Surabaya Kampus Hijau)

a themed title "universitas surabaya" or that there are keyword "kampus hijau" must have often seen almost in all parts of the body of my blog that is plump and dense, hehe, because nearly 3 articles had a lot of stories that are not clear about the "kampus hijau", especially in the side menu, it must be uncomfortable? sory ;p.

But this time will be different, because I want to tell a little about my blog "Kampus Hijau" which has been in optimization to enter the Search Engine (read: Google), why do i want to optimization??
because, it starts from +- 2.5 Last week, Course Codes "Topik Khusus Internet" requires students to create a blog/website with the theme "universitas surabaya kampus hijau". So that if my Lecturer check this task at UTS/UAS (semester exams) later, and search with this keyword "universitas surabaya kampus hijau", the students who had made their respective blogs, will compete from the list of google search..
And, who can enter the list of google search pages 1-5, students will get a high score. (hopefully I can =) please help me to more often visit this blog,? =)


So what is SEO?? seo means way/trick that made the webmaster/ blogger/you all to raise/increase the rank blog/website of your own from Google's search results and other search engines. well, more or less so the meaning of SEO, you all must be better understood from me about this science.
So, now I explore the way that I have done this for 6 days, my blog:
"www.surabaya-universitas--kampus-hijau.blogspot.com" and praise god, my website searchable on pages 5-7. happy ..=)
despite losing ratings with numerous ads on pages 1-4. sad = (

now, without further ado I will share the knowledge I gained for you all, (please leave some criticism and suggestions..)

1. Try a web domain of your blog/web are "equal" or at least "similar" to the keywords that will be input by the user/surfer later.
example: I create a domain: www.surabaya-universitas--kampus-hijau.blogspot.com
in order to include the keywords from the user later: "universitas surabaya kampus hijau"

2. Create a Title and Description of your blog or website, associated with the input keyword from user/surfer later. I hear there is also the influence that we can set "Meta Keyword" n "Meta Description" the same with keywords from the user.. but I also still learning how to make it.. please be advised, still newbie..= (

3. Content,!! I heard "content" is EVERYTHING.. So the article content that we make later on, should be associated with keywords that will be input by the user later. Typically, try to repeat the keywords that we want, in the article that we make.. but make the user comfortable in reading, because google can check with some algorithm.
if next time Google thinks we have an odd content, Google may think our website as a spammer and "Page Rank" of our blog can be decreased.
so try to make an article/content with natural, without forgetting to repeat the keywords with reasonable ..
another example: I repeated the keyword "Universitas Surabaya Kampus Hijau" in every paragraph.. but not too forced.. create the impression that only natrual.. Google would prefer a blog that we made with "natural beauty".. hehe...

4. Make a SiteMap, sitemap can be illustrated as a map of the entire contents of your blog/website. So with this sitemap, blogs can easily to be recognized by google, and some say, a sitemap can help search engines work to summarize all the pages of our blog.
The way that I know, only 2, we can register and create an account on this website:
-> Http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/
-> Http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/

5. Registering blog/your website in several search engines and web directory. So our Blog can quickly identify and index by Google and others.. not have to register to all search engines, simply by registering to a search engine that has the popularity and high rating such as google, yahoo, and msn/bing ..
example: you can register your website at:
-> Google: www.google.com/addurl/
-> Yahoo: www.submit.search.yahoo.com
-> Dmoz.org: www.dmoz.org

6. Do not try to do the optimization "blackhat" in blog/your website, because Google already had an algorithms to such tricks.
So do not try to create content/article which full of links (Link Farm) to your own website.. so the articles you make only slightly in content and just a lot of links and keywords..
Or "Keyword Stuffing", hmh..also be careful .. Because your website can be considered as web spammers .. its influence isn't good for your website as well.

7. Regularly to update your blog/web.. This is important .. because google and other search engines constantly to see our web .. so before their robotic machines surf our blog/web, try to frequently update our content ..

8. BackLink,.! This is optimization, where the address of your blog/web are placed/located in other blog/website. So google will think that our website has a high popularity, especially if we put our web address on the webpage which had a high rank.. so that google will be very pleased with our blog/web, =)

9. Visitor traffic.!! influential .. but I also have heard that it was no longer influential? is it true?? if according to my thinking, this is still influential in SEO .. but this is only my thoughts, comments and suggestions please ya.??

10. Very Important : Pray a lot and have patience in reaping the results. ^ ^
